All transactions should be categorized for tax purposes. While our service team will reconcile your transactions against your financial statements on a monthly basis, you can categorize unfamiliar transactions so the product can learn to automatically categorize them.
You can create or edit a transaction’s category in two simple steps.
From the “Transaction” tab, select “Uncategorized Transactions” at the top of the page.
Categorize Individual Transactions
Click the category column of the transaction you want to edit and choose the proper label from the drop-down menu.
Categorize Multiple Transactions
Check the box to the left of all the transactions that you’d like to categorize. A box will appear above the list of transactions that reads "Edit Multiple". Click that box.
A pop-up menu will appear outlining all of the fields available to edit. Make any of the changes you’d like to see here.
